YORK RAILWAY STATION

York Railway Station was the largest in the world in 1877. Constructed by the North Eastern Railway, it's on the East Coast Main Line. Currently, the York station remains a crucial junction between London and Edinburgh. It provides services of several train operators: London North Eastern Railway, CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, TransPennine Express, Grand Central, and Northern Trains.

Moreover, the old yet beautiful York Station was one of only ten awarded five stars in Britain's 100 Best Railway Stations by Simon Jenkins.

Welcome to the modern LNER train that you can board at York railway station, which is situated approximately halfway between London and Edinburgh.
